Successful passing of the tests

Specialists of JSC “Kurskrezinotekhnika” have successfully completed operational tests of a prototype of a conveyor belt with a new technical fabric TL.

Operational tests were carried out at the Saratov Building Materials Plant (CJSC SZSM) from 12.02.2013. until 12.12.2014

The tests were carried out to determine the operability and operational reliability of the conveyor belt to confirm the predicted useful life.

The state of the prototype after 3400 hours of operation and the movement of 306.1 thousand tons of cargo is assessed as “good”, while:

1) the lengthening of the conveyor belt was no more than 0.5%, which made it possible to avoid equipment downtime associated with rearrangement and tension of the belt;

2) the reduced weight of the conveyor belt made it possible to reduce energy costs due to:

smoother starting
reducing the loads on the elements of the conveyor mill
reducing the load on the electric motor

The durability of the prototype of the conveyor belt produced by OJSC Kurskrezinotekhnika, according to the expert assessment of the commission, in the absence of operational disturbances will be at least 5 years.

Serial production of the new conveyor belt started in 2014.
