Conveyor belt splicing training

OJSC “Kurskrezinotekhnika” will train specialists of LLC “Uralkali-Remont” in joining conveyor belts according to European standards

In July 2014, specialists of the Rubex-Nilos joint venture for docking and servicing of conveyor transport will hold a series of training seminars for the employees of Uralkali-Remont LLC.

Seminars will be held at the customer’s base under the program “Conveyor Belts and Methods of Their Docking”.

The purpose of the training is to transfer the advanced experience and high competencies of Rubex-Nilos specialists in the field of joining conveyor belts. Training of employees of the services of LLC Uralkali-Remont will be carried out in accordance with European standards for service of conveyor systems.

During the training, the customer’s specialists will receive the most relevant information in the following areas:

Existing docking methods, their advantages and disadvantages;
Basic principles of joining fabric-based conveyor belts by cold vulcanization.
Docking materials, rules for their storage and transportation.
Hot vulcanization technology for connecting conveyor belts;
Splice design;
Equipment and materials used.

In 2014, it is planned to hold similar events at the largest enterprises of the mining, coal and metallurgical industries.
