Today, the actual problem of operating the main conveyors of mining enterprises is the failure of the belt due to longitudinal gusts, which leads to downtime of the conveyor transport and the associated significant financial costs.

OJSC Kurskrezinotekhnika, together with Coal Control, proposes a solution to this issue by equipping conveyor belts with protection systems, which will minimize the length of the damaged section. With the help of inductive loops vulcanized into the belt and special sensors for detecting longitudinal gust, the system will force the conveyor to stop.

OJSC “Kurskrezinotekhnika” is planning the first delivery of such conveyor belts with longitudinal gust protection systems to one of the largest enterprises in the mining industry in the Russian Federation.
