Reduction of rubber ST conveyor belt weight

Customer focus is one of the main strategic objectives of the Rubex Group. The Marketing Directorate is constantly studying the latest global RTI developments and consumer preferences in order to anticipate the client’s needs.
During the technical benchmarking of the cable conveyor belt market carried out by the Marketing Directorate, the most promising, high-tech and demanded products on the market were identified: energy-efficient cable belts. Due to the reduced weight of the belt, the loads on the electric motor and the elements of the conveyor mill are reduced, which allows reducing energy costs.
Specialists of JSC “Kurskrezinotekhnika” have developed a similar tape with an improved design. Due to the use of special cables with a smaller diameter, the weight of the belt is reduced by 10%, while maintaining all operational characteristics.
Conveyor belts of this design will be manufactured in wear-resistant (rubber compound of the working lining: I, X, W), shaft version (G-1, G-2, TCO, V), frost-resistant version (M), heat-resistant version (T-1, T-2).
In the 1st quarter of 2014, Kurskrezinotekhnika OJSC plans to start serial production of rubber cord belts with reduced load on the elements of the conveyor system for medium and severe operating conditions.
