Completion of testing of heat-resistant conveyor belt with composite materials

In February 2014 the operating tests of innovative heat-reistant conveyor belt 2Т3БЗ-1200-5-ЕР-200-8-2-Т-3-РБ, manufactured by OJSC Kurskrezinotekhnika, were successfully completed.
The tests were carried out on the basis of the sinter production of Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant OJSC according to the program and methodology of acceptance (operational) tests approved by the Chief Engineer of Kurskrezinotekhnika OJSC and agreed by the technical services of ChMK OJSC.
The purpose of the tests is to determine the resource (operability and reliability) of the conveyor belt to confirm the predicted service life.
In accordance with TU, the tape is intended for transportation of highly abrasive materials with an operating temperature of up to 300C. The main consumers are metallurgical enterprises. With a tape service life of 6 months (depending on operating conditions), a short-term heating of the tape up to 70 ° C is allowed.
Operational tests at a metallurgical enterprise confirmed a 2-fold increase in the resource of a new conveyor belt, in the absence of operational disturbances. In this case, the service life will be at least 6.0 months.

In the second quarter of 2014, OJSC Kurskrezinotekhnika begins serial production of conveyor belts with increased heat resistance.
