Lining of drum pelletizers for mining and processing

At mining enterprises, until 2004, drum pelletizers were protected from wear using a metal mesh, used conveyor belt and other materials. The efficiency of the application was extremely low and, over time, increased the physical wear of the drum pelletizer.
In close cooperation with Mikhailovsky GOK (one of the largest iron ore mining and processing enterprises in Russia and the CIS), Rubex Group specialists carried out a full range of research and development work and were the first among Russian manufacturers, have developed special lining plate, providing solutions of fixation this product to a pelletizer (special glues for cold vulcanization and specific technology of application).
The length of pelletizer is 14 meters, diameter 3,8 meters. The lining plate has passed successful operating tests at Mikhailovsky GOK.
The proven experience of the lining plate for drum pelletizers at the mining industry has confirmed the feasibility of using the new product: the overhaul interval and pelletizer productivity have increased. As a result, the use of rubber lining provided the yield of a stable grain size composition (diameter of iron ore pellets).
